About this stay in Kaudia Range
Our property is situated in a quiet and peaceful area with expansive views, perfect for basking in the morning sun. While conveniently located on the main road, less than a minute's walk from the large open parking area, you may experience some vehicle noise during the day.
A chef with our fully equipped kitchen (8 AM - 10 PM) is available. For an authentic experience, order our Pahadi thali or regional delicacies, savored in traditional kansa (bronze). Traditional Use: Kansa utensils have been used in India for centuries, particularly in Ayurvedic practices. Health Benefits (Ayurveda): Ayurveda suggests that eating in kansa can help balance the body's doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha), promoting overall well-being. Non-reactive: Unlike some metals like copper or brass, kansa doesn't react with acidic foods (like curd, lemon, or salt), making it safe for a wider range of dishes. Gut Health: Some believe that kansa can help improve digestion and gut health. Antimicrobial Properties: Kansa is thought to have some antimicrobial properties, which could help with hygiene.
Enjoy dining under the stars or a bonfire (chargeable). Do ask for whiskey or wine glasses if you need one.
Fill water from two traditional filters into a tamba (copper) jug available in your room. Antimicrobial Properties: Copper is known to have antimicrobial properties, which means it can help kill bacteria and other microorganisms that may be present in the water. This can help to purify the water and make it safer to drink. Balances Doshas: Ayurveda suggests that drinking water from a copper vessel can help balance the three doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) in the body, promoting overall well-being. Aids Digestion: Copper is thought to promote healthy digestion and prevent digestive issues. Boosts Immunity: Some believe that copper can help strengthen the immune system. Anti-inflammatory: Copper may have anti-inflammatory properties, which could be beneficial for certain conditions.
We also offer BBQ facilities. For marinated dishes, including BBQ, please give us advance notice.
